The real story is that the clean look of photos got less interesting for us over time. We wanted to see more of the “dirty” side of analog – the realness, seeing the beauty in the imperfections. The developing process and even the film in itself have a messy feel to it because of all the work you need to put in to get one photo, as opposed to digital. We wanted to bring out a reality that’s messy, the way it is in real life, where you can capture your moments just as they are.

We’re a team of film nerds who like to experiment – so we wanted to bring you films with which we can introduce new looks & feels into the world of analog. Despite the fact that analog is an old technology, we believe in the potential to develop it further – play with it in different ways to get new and fresh results.
